Bruce Belliveau, a Managing Director with Chrysalis Energy Partners, has over 20 years of experience advising companies, as an investment banker or in a senior operating and financial executive capacity, on all aspects of strategic positioning and capital raising initiatives. Mr. Belliveau is currently pursuing a Masters in International Public Policy, with a concentration in Energy and the Environment, at The Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins University in Washington, DC.

A native of Western Massachusetts, Mr. Belliveau began his career as a manufacturing engineer at The Dow Chemical Company in Midland, MI. While with Dow, his experiences comprised process engineering, technical service & development, where he was responsible for proving out emerging technologies, and sales & marketing where he worked closely in the field with leading customers in extending these technologies commercially. Following graduate school, Mr. Belliveau moved on to Wall Street where, as a senior investment banking professional with a demonstrated 11 year track record, he advised U.S., Europe, Middle East and Asia-based companies on all aspects of equity and debt financings, strategic positioning, and merger and acquisition analysis. Over the course of his career as an investment banker, Mr. Belliveau completed 48 public equity offerings, 14 debt financings and 15 financial advisory assignments encompassing over 100 engaged client assignments.

Following Wall Street he joined a former advisory client, a leading international provider of shareholder response services, financial communications and business process outsourcing services, as an Executive Vice President and its Global Chief Financial Officer. While with this company he was instrumental in growing the company from approximately $40 million to over $200 million in revenue and extended operations to over 10 countries. He was responsible for the development and execution of all key strategic initiatives culminating in the orchestration of a major operational and financial restructuring, including the securing of a new equity investment, bank group debt restructuring, several divestitures and the favorable ultimate sale of the company. More recently, Mr. Belliveau was the Chief Financial Officer of an international media company based in the Washington, DC metro area.

Mr. Belliveau has an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and BS degrees in Biochemistry and in Chemical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He completed the Executive Program for Growing Companies at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business and the Senior Executive Program at London Business School, among other executive education programs. Mr. Belliveau is a Chartered Financial Analyst, Certified Management Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Treasury Professional, as well as being certified as a Six Sigma Black Belt and Lean Sensei. He resides in Washington DC.
